This training covers the foundation of rainwater harvesting and management. Using the concepts of rainwater management, and implementing key components of rainwater harvesting, professionals and trades practitioners will be able to design, create and manage quality systems in a sustainable and environmentally ethical manner.

By the end of this training the participants will be able to:

• Identify the components of a rainwater harvesting system
• Calculate the amount of potential water collection from a surface
• Calculate the amount of water needed to supply a household
